BambooBaby Testimonials

Dear Bamboosa:

I just have to say THANK YOU! for such a fantastic product. I absolutely love these cable knit blankets. My son loves them, too because he wraps his fist in them and chews on the texture when his teething is bugging him ... and he gets tangled up in the blanket as he's drifting off to sleep and just grins about it! I JUST LOVE IT!!!
Adrienne P. - Las Vegas, NV

I love your products so keep up the good work and folks like me will keep buying them for their little sprouts and giving them to anyone and everyone they know who is expecting one!

I gave some of the BambooBaby towels and other goodies as a pressie for a friend's grandchild - now 15 months old - and just visited them. They LOVE the hooded towels especially. This order is for the soon to be born grandchild of another friend and I am confident they will love them, too! And of course being made in America is a great bonus!

Before my son was born, I ordered a few items from your company. One of the items, your blue cableknit baby blanket, has become his item of security. The cableknit blanket is an incredible blanket for a baby or small child. The weave of it makes it worry free for us in case our son were to get wrapped in it he could still breath. I think that this blanket has been the best investment for our sanity and our baby!

The bamboo baby sheets, clothes, and towels are by far the softest, and most absorbent ever. That's all I used when my son was a baby and I still give them as gifts to new parents.

I truly love your bamboo products!  My son, who is 17 months old, absolutely loves the tahiti blue beanie he has had since birth!  He wants to wear it all the time - I think you can imagine what it is looking like now!!  This is why a second one is in order!

Juliette L. - Santa Barbara, CA

We received the bamboo baby pants today and just had to write you to express my extreme satisfaction with them. They are absolutely the softest, highest quality pair of pants that we own for our impending arrival. Our son is simply going to love wearing them. We couldn't be more pleased with everything we have received from Bamboosa.
Sincerely impressed,
Michael & Susan - OK

I just wanted to let you know how much I absolutely LOVE your baby blanket. A co-worker got my daughter her first blanket - which she has used since birth. She is 5 months old now and will not sleep soundly without it. If she is fussy, all we do is cover her with her blanket and it is like the sandman has sprinkled his sleep dust on her... it is Mia Grace's (and our) favorite blanket.

Well, you folks certainly are a far cry from Wal-Mart, aren't you? Thank goodness! You are now my favorite website for baby gifts and I am telling all my friends. I appreciate the quality of your products, the fact that they are made in the USA and the personal service and pride in your work.

I just wanted to let you know how much I LOVE your baby products! For my shower I received 2 hooded towels, a bundle of washcloths, beanie, crib sheet and socks. The towels are fantastic! So thick and soft, the washcloths are great - I never worry about them being rough. The socks are by far my favorite out of the bunch as they are the ONLY pair of socks I have tried that will stay on all day!!!

I have never been so secure with a product that will help support my childrens health while wrapping them in silky softness.  Thank you for introducing a product that is so fashionably comfortable and healthy for all.

I currently own a number of your crib sheets and I absolutely love the feel of them for my daughter. My husband and I would love to have a set for our queen size bed!
Marni H. - Vaughan, Ontario

My latest washcloth order arrived today -- speedy delivery and so nicely wrapped too. I wanted to commend you on that, the packaging... the lovely tissue paper and string wrapping, the washcloths folded so nicely, and with the fact sheet insert about bamboo as a material. It's so nice and gratifying to order from a company that takes pride in its products and in packaging them well for customers. I look forward to ordering in the future!

Bamboosa Dyes
We have attempted to be honest on our web site and avoid using language that is not accurate. In example, since many of you have asked about dyeing, the dyeing of our fabric is one particular area where we were careful not to mislead.

There are many sites that market their products as being dyed with "fiber reactive low impact dyes". That statement is somewhat misleading as there really are no "low impact" dyes that are available for production dyeing of fabrics. Fiber reactive dyes are petrol-chemical in nature and have a definite adverse impact on the environment. While we use the lowest impact fiber reactive dyes available, they are by no means low impact. At best, approximately 75%-80% of the dyestuffs, depending on the color, stay on the fabric, the rest go out for wastewater treatment before being returned to the aquifer. Unfortunately, there is nothing better on the market and, while we would like to be as good of stewards of the environment as possible, we work with the best materials available, until something better is developed.

Additionally, we do not use ANY chlorine for bleaching or pre-bleaching nor do we use any dyefixing agents which contain some unattractive compounds - on any of our products.

All of our purely natural fabric is just that - natural without dye. We chose to use embroidery for our logo instead of printing, as a no chemical alternative.

WASHING, DRYING, SHRINKAGE
You can wash Bamboosa products just like cotton - cold or warm water and tumble dry. We do recommend a gentle cycle. No bleach or fabric softener. Harsh detergents can cause holes. Remove promptly from the dryer. Because viscose from bamboo fabric is so absorbent, the bamboo products will absorb the moisture from your other clothes and will dry last in the dryer.
Shrinkage of our products are similar or less than you would expect in top quality cotton fabrics.
