What is living a simple lifestyle? The answer is as diversified as those who define it. It is said that ignorance is bliss, maybe so, but this is not a prerequisite to living simple. It can help, but we need to acquire a bit of intelligence to overcome the many issues when one tries to simplify living.With all our gains in technology, humans prefer to learn from their own narrow and limited experiences. We live much as humans did a thousand years ago. Memories condition our responses to life and influences our growth as we try to enjoy our short life. Start Simple: Some issues, such as exercise and diet, we need only to be determined to succeed and can be relatively easy to accomplish. Other issues such as our egos, emotional health and spirituality can be more difficult to attain. But you need to remember that these are not objectives to reach, but a process which is constant that we incorporate into our lives. You do not have to prove yourself for who you are. Humility is accepting that you need not have to build yourself up to others to be able to feel good about yourself.
Learn the difference between Needs and Wants. Needs are used to survive and live a healthy and energizing lifestyle. Wants are those materialistic things that you use to fill the gaps you think you have in your life. For inner peace, do not search the world around you because materialistic goods will never allow you to reach this state of mind.Learn to believe that your dreams are powerful.
