Easy Grilled New York Soft Pretzels recipe
2 1/4 cups Bisquick mix
1/2 cup milk
1 egg white, slightly beaten
1 tablespoon sesame seed
Mix baking mix and milk until a dough forms. Beat vigorously 20 strokes. Gently smooth into a ball on
surface dusted with baking mix. Knead 5 times; divide into 6 equal parts. Roll each part into a 15-inch
rope. Place rope on a large sheet of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Bring left end of rope up over the first loop
to form a pretzel shape; press end into dough to seal. Enlarge the holes in the loops with fingers. Brush
one side of each pretzel with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seed.
Grill pretzels on aluminum foil over hot coals until golden brown on each side 7 to 9 minutes.
Serve with mustard.

Cajun Chex Party Mix recipe
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon celery salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 to 8 drops Durkee Red Hot Cayenne
Pepper Sauce or Cajun seasoning
2 2/3 cups Wheat Chex
2 2/3 cups Corn Chex
2 2/3 cups Rice Chex
1 (2.8 ounce) can French fried Onions
Heat oven to 250 degrees F.
In open roasting pan melt margarine in oven. Remove. Stir in parsley, celery salt, garlic, cayenne pepper
and pepper sauce. Gradually add cereals, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Bake for 30 to 35
minutes, stirring evenly 15 minutes.
Add onions; mix well. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
Honey Roasted Holiday Mix recipe
6 cups popcorn
1 (5 ounce) can wide chow mein noodles
1 cup honey roasted peanuts
5 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
In large roasting pan, mix popcorn and chow mein noodles. Melt butter and sugar together, stir in vanilla
and cinnamon. Pour over popcorn, toss to coat. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
Add nuts. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store airtight.
Makes 11 cups.
Colorful Fried Pasta Snacks with Variations recipe
2 cups uncooked colored twist pasta
1 quart corn oil (approximately)
1/4 cup granulated or confectioners sugar
1 tablespoon grated lemon or orange peel
1/8 teaspoon salt
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well. Spread in a single layer on wax paper-lined
cookie sheet and dry for 20 minutes.
Pour corn oil into electric skillet, filling no more than one-third full. Heat to 375 degrees F.
Carefully add pasta to hot oil, a few at a time. Fry for about 1 minute, turning once, or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels. Repeat until all pasta is fried, adding oil as needed.
In a medium bowl, stir sugar, lemon peel and salt until well mixed. Toss pasta with sugar mixture until
coated. Store in tightly covered container.
Chili Fried Pasta Snacks:
Follow recipe for Fried Pasta Snacks. Omit sugar and lemon peel. Use 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons chili
powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Lemon Pepper Fried Pasta Snacks:
Follow recipe for Fried Pasta Snacks. Omit sugar. Use 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel, 1 tablespoon
cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper.
Parmesan Fried Pasta Snacks:
Follow recipe for Fried Pasta Snacks. Omit sugar and lemon peel. Mix together 1/4 cup grated
Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
